Ahus is a local and regional hospital that receives and treats patients from birth to the end of life. Our treatment is provided at Nordbyhagen in Lørenskog and elsewhere in Romerike, Follo, Oslo, and Kongsvinger. Ahus offers both planned treatment and immediate assistance in somatics, mental health care, and addiction treatment. We are the country's largest emergency hospital, responsible for over 600,000 residents. As a university hospital, we place great emphasis on research and education, providing treatment, expertise, and technology of very high quality.
Improvement projects and new methods for treatment and services are important to us. Through learning networks, an annual patient safety week, and improvement days, we share experiences and learn from each other.
