About the Apprenticeship at Ahus
At Ahus, we offer apprenticeship placements in medical and surgical wards, as well as some positions in acute psychiatry.
During the apprenticeship, you will participate in joint subject days with teaching, experience sharing, and collaborative tasks. There is also the opportunity for study days and placements in other units during the apprenticeship period.
The apprenticeship lasts for two years; in the first year, you will work alongside a mentor, and in the second year, you will have your own rota.
The apprenticeship is paid, and during the two years, you will receive a salary equivalent to that of a newly qualified health care worker.
After two years of apprenticeship, you will receive a vocational certificate as a health care worker, following a successful trade examination, and authorisation as a health care worker.
