Doctors in training (LIT)

The specialist training for doctors includes practical service, theoretical instruction, and other learning activities for at least six and a half years after the granting of authorisation or licence.

Ahus is a large workplace with over 12,000 employees in many different fields. Our aim is to be a safe working environment that facilitates learning and skills development. Each year, we welcome a number of apprentices in the fields of healthcare work, portering, and nutritional cooking.

Do you need professional development and updates?

A good healthcare service for patients depends on staff sharing their expertise. Together with municipalities, districts, and educational institutions, we have developed the Competence Bridge - a shared website for knowledge sharing and collaboration. The website provides access to courses, themed subject areas, films, and news, among other things.
